One of the core function of Steemit was the so called "freedom of expression" but as always thats a phrase which only exists in fiction, there was never any freedom of expression , its just a myth and it has no existence, not in real life, nor over the Internet, there is and there will always be someone above the hierarchy who gets to rule over the ones who are below him, and thats what has been happening and will continue to happen. The king will rule the subjects, and its also true here.
#Power will rule, power shall be exercised over those will less power.
Steempower gives influence to rule over the community, and then just like any kingdom, powerful people will rule over and will victimized the weak, thats what happened in the human history and thats what shall always happen.
Similarly this #steempower gives the right to rule over those with less steempower and do whatever the wielder wishes.
I know this post will get flagged by the powerful ones and my freedom of expression will be stopped.
But thats exactly the point here, to prove that freedom of expression is a so called fiction that exists in movies, novels, or any other form of arts.
Anyone can flag anyone here, not only the whales on the site and for any reason. This is a community and if you are not contributing with entertaining content or some other similar fashion then you won't make much progress.
Freedom of expression is the right to freely voice yourself and your opinions. It does not mean that your expression can or should be accepted by anyone else. If you are expressing yourself in a negative way then you can expect negative results just the same as with anything.
This site is highly experimental and there really is no true or false prediction of where it will lead to.
And as a vote of confidence on my part, I feel I should inform you that you can only be silenced when you decide to stop speaking. Nobody else is capable of controlling anything you do in any way other than persuasion, of whatever form that may be.
