If be any chance you actually read my blog you will know that I used to do #redjanuary. All went great until I left to Copenhagen last Friday. I had absolutely no time to do any type of exercise apart sightseeing, which in my head does not count.
I also can admit that I was afraid that it will happen. Somehow my energy went low and I lost the drive even if I would find 5 minutes to shake my body. I do believe that all great minds were lazy so this is usually my favourite excuse. I am not even as bad as I am walking back and forth to my work every day (around 6 km in total) and I always believe that they count for a healthy lifestyle.
This time I felt bad letting down other people. The tag was started by @redrica and she has been very supportive with me every day on the #redjanuary post. I am used to disappoint myself, I know that are habits in my life that are very hard to break. My biggest fear is not that I am going to become a failure, mine is that I am powerful beyond reason ("Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure" Marianne Williamson)
So I did fail to keep up with redjanuary challenge, I am a coward indeed and I know it :) I was looking at the light of a candle in Copenhagen and thinking about commitment. I do not handle well commitment, I used to think I am born without this gene. I am more like the wind or like a candle, forever undecided :) but soft and caressing. I might lack persistency, but I do love flow and anyone who ever had a magic moment in dance would know that is a weird combination of persistency and divine inspiration. Maybe fitness is not my cup of tea in the end 💖💖

I don't think you disappointed anyone. Maybe indeed, it's not your type of thing (commitment) though I'm not sure that is a bad thing. And a practice takes time. Keep coming back to it and you will improve <3 Don't be too hard on yourself!

So I am anyone?? ;) I do know a practice take time but I am just annoyed by the lack of joy it not a real drama in the end. To be honest I was disappointed with me the most, even though it was the same me that had choose to let myself down. Thank you for support and for reading the blog :) Hugs

Redjanuary? Depends on what is that you're committing to without that "thing" that makes one so committed to something, someone...
Earlier on, committing to something is very easy you know...we can't fault ourselves if we can't stay committed to it. Red understood am sure 😗😙😚

Essentially I did too, I just counted my normal daily walking as my "being active" that day, because I set my own rules anyway ;) so if you feel like jumping back on today or at any point, then do it <3
