You may not agree with the spiritual/psychedelic aspects of a thinker like Terence McKenna, but it's hard to deny that there's always a strong emphasis on self-empowerment and coming together as a strong society to tackle the hardest challenges that we face, as opposed to the ego-driven society that the western world has formed over the centuries.
We've made some incredible advancements technologically, however I believe we've compromised general well-being. We don't seem to believe in ourselves, and what we could possibly achieve if we dedicate ourselves to our dreams and imagination; heading towards an overarching goal of a connected society.
