The name of the plant is associated with the ancient Greek myth: a beautiful young man Narcissus saw in the water his reflection and could not tear himself away from it. He died on the bank of the stream from the love of himself. And on this place grew a surprisingly beautiful flower with a bowed head, which people called a daffodil.
