Winter Storm Riley hit the East Coast this past weekend putting thousands out of power and causing damage everywhere. After the storm passed, it looked like a tornado went through NEPA and surrounding areas. The heavy, wet snow and wind took down an overwhelming amount of trees and powerlines. Help has come from all different states to repair the damage done... National guard came to help, warming stations were set up all over Wayne/Pike and surrounding counties, and shelters for those with damaged homes or no power. We’re getting hit again tonight through Thursday. We are prepared this time, and hoping for the best.
