Tokyo - Sumitomo Forestry plans to build a skyscraper in Tokyo. This building will be the tallest in the world and Tokyo as high as 350 meters.

Japanese developer Sumitomo Forestry released the tallest skyscraper design planned in Tokyo. The building designed by Nikken Sekkei has a height of 1,148 feet or about 350 meters.

The building using wooden ornaments is targeted to be completed in 2041 as well as mark the anniversary of Sumitomo to 350 years. The framework of the building also changed the city to be environmentally friendly because of overgrown plants. The building is also designed to be earthquake resistant.

This skyscraper will be equipped with hotels, offices, retail centers, and residences. The building framework is made of steel and wood structures that create a natural impression.

Once completed, the building is not only the highest in the world, but also in Japan. The building is estimated to require 6.5 million cubic feet of timber and about 600 billion yen. This building was designed by Sumitomo Forestry.
