Touchdown ! Barnswallows

Photographing a mom feeding her baby is always very much fun to do.

When the baby's do leave their nest and learn to fly they often all sit together. They rest on a barbed wire or whatever other perches they can find.

The mom/dad go catch insects like spiders, dragonflies and many other little bugs to feed all those baby's...

When one of the parents approach with a catch they all start calling with their beak wide open and flapping around with their wings all togheter. Food ! We want food ! it's very funny to see that happen.

This image is a little one crying for food

When photographing this kind of images from a food drop. You have to look witch baby does get the most food of all. You lock in on that baby and you wait until you see the baby crying. Then you hope for the best and you let your camera click like 10 frames @ second and you hope for a good image, pose, drop, ....

Just repeat until you are satisfied :)
