The other day I posted about the entrance to the watkins glen state park and the heart shaped pool. Today I want to share some more pictures of the waterfall and further up the gorge. a lot of work was done to make the gorge more accessible in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corp. They laid a lot of stairs in the Glen, this is a picture of one of the sets of stairs that lead up the south edge of the gorge to the next set of falls.
This is the largest falls in the watkins gorge.
This is a shot from behind the falls. Next up is the round staircase carved into the bedrock.
