Finally I went there

Walled city is much more complicated than this.

If you study its building structure it is crazy! It is so "organic" that it is "growing" in every minute and surprisingly it didn't collapse! The walls are share with the others, the corridors are the remaining space when there is no space to build.

Sure it is much more designed than the walled city. But it reminds me it. The Walled city was the result of many different project and improvisation. It was a must-see, it was one of HK world famous place and I feel sad the day they put it down. Also today I feel sad to see the Gov. want to put the neons down, this is really part of HK identity for long time. I miss this time but HK is always in my heart.

True......the government want to remove all the colonial style buildings because Hong Kong is running by Peking government......

When I think about it, its look like they (Peking Gov) try to bring the image of HK down by the use of many urban rules and on the other hand try to bring Shanghai at HK place.

You're right, they are trying to diminish Hong Kong by keep saying it has no difference compare to any other city in China.

On other hand, everyday there are 150 Chinese come to Hong Kong and become HK citizens after they stayed for 7 years (for 20 years already, so more than 1 million Chinese came to HK......). And they try to promote putonghua, simplified Chinese, wechat and alipay. Saying Hong Kong should learn from China, Cantonese is just a small group of people using it, still paid by HK dollar is out of fashion......etc.

Propaganda, this is the way China work and expansion also. I am from France but live in Thailand I can see how Chinese these past 10 years come to every country in Asia and start to organize their own system. North Laos for example is like a small colony of China already.

Yes.......they are escape from China and build a strong community there as you can see things are happening in Canada and Australia. They buy the lands and properties from your country but you tell them you should adapt to the culture and follow the rules. They will said you are against and discriminate them......What can you say?

They use the stupid system of the western countries "against discrimination". This is the end of the western world because of this stupid rules my country is a shit hole now because of that. I speak against this stupidity in the past and I get fined. But in EU the problem is not the Chinese because most of them follow the rules.

I think China will get paid by a very large scale of anti-Chinese riot all over the world in future if they are keep doing things like that. When you look from the country to the people themselves, they have nothing but money even if they are poor they are keen on getting the welfare service from the foreign country. And for those who can't escape from China, are they poor?

Yes, some are suffering from natural disaster e.g. earthquake. But why the buildings were that fragile? Because the building company didn't use good quality of material to build houses. After the disaster, there are fundraising all over the world but most of the funding are in the governors' pocket. And the mainstream media would keep saying people who are not donate money to support China is cold blooded.
