The highlands of Scotland with their endless small streams, lochs and crannies, small hills, midges, summer rain showers, towering cloud formations beg for the artists brush, the photographers lens, the quiet presence of meditation. Infrared photography provides a way to see this stunning landscape in bizarre and psychedelic moments without the gel tabs or the mushroom tea.
This was taken in Roshven, not far from the bustling crowds of famous aqueduct from the Harry Potter films. Even a few miles away there isn't a soul in sight.
I stayed in Roshven with a homie of mine and we cruised into our airbnb after dark so we didn't get to see how dramatic the landscape was until the next morning. Really kick-ass place with a teepee and an organic toilet. One night wasn't enough.
