We, Sparrows

Greetings, humankind!

I come with another short talk about people. Mostly visual, I admit.

A series that came out of nowhere. I thought about it yesterday as I wrote a short exercise, inspired by steemit.com blogger @jayna.

It seems sparrows have been around me and I have noticed. In truth, I have always been a fan. Maybe even since before I have read the amazing book by Bulgarian author Yordan Radichkov, titled 'We, sparrows' / "Ние, врабчетата", at some point in my early school years.

So it obviously sneaked into my photography. Until I realized I had accumulated photographs of their various activities. Or at least I have started a line of thought that might someday grow into an exhibition.

 

I sometimes find them appreciating the art of fountain building...

... and other sculptures...

I find them mostly hungry. Maybe that's what makes me feel a deep relation between us. We... I mean they seem quite predatory at times...

... at other times they may resort to grass...

...

But we all know their natural diet consists mainly of biscuits.

They are, after all, descendant from the Biscuitosaurus taxonomical family tree.

Otherwise, looking at their social interactions, one may easily conclude they are perfectly normal people.
