Good Morning Steem,

Another visit this weekend to the abandoned fort whilst access is still easy, with both L.A.C.E lads this time and Marc BB.

We started off light-painting upstairs but after we had all grabbed a couple of shots, we made our way down into the tunnels that run underneath the main rampards.

A lot of these rooms would have been used for ammunition storage, and there is still a couple of hand cranked ammunition lifts that the troops would have used to get shells up to the guns quickly.

This is a collaboration shot between myself and Marc BB,

Once set up for the rotation in this tunnel, it was a simple matter of walking down the tunnel with the Digital Light Wand (a 2 meter strip of addressable LEDs) and then spinning the wire wool, capping the lens and repeating the whole process again for this one.

Really like how the white walls have picked up the colours from the leds, and the stalagmite deposited that are starting on the roof after many years of liquid ingress into the bowels of this once great defensive fort.

Another great night hanging out with the guys.

If you want to see more of this kind of art, then please head over to @lightpaintershub where you’ll be treated to more visual delights.
