In the middle of an ice storm here, everything is covered with ice and now there is snow on the way. Schools have been canceled again today. Winter brings so many challenges!

Yes winter do, mostly if your not prepeared, as you know i live in snow country, we normaly get 2meters of it & at least -30c sooo ;)

It's not cold yet, just at freezing, but temps will be falling all day - 19C tonight. My wires are all buried underground so thankfully weather does not affect them. I'm just hoping that everything doesn't get so heavy with ice that trees begin losing branches. It is pretty!

Have you tried shooting people outdoors with a telephoto lens? Not portraits but just out and about? It's a lot easier than portrait work in some ways : )

I have not tried that! My world is more heavily populated with trees then it is with people these days but that might be fun to do if I'm ever in a city situation. Thanks for the suggestion!
