Provincial Perks

in photocircle •  7 years ago
I was born and raised in the province. We live a simple life back then.. no technologies to waste our time with, no luxurious toys either to play with. We spend our time playing outside the house. And when we get tired and hungry, we just pick whatever fruit bearing trees that are in season. Yes, one of the perks when you are living in the province. Our grandparents had planted lots of fruit bearing trees in our backyard so we don't get to spend much on fruits/food. That's what I'm thankful for. We have a lot where we can plant trees that would be useful to our day to day living. Today, I woke up this morning with a bunch of bananas freshly picked from our yard. Fresh and sweet. Yey for free fruits! 😊

Being able to harvest fruits and vegetables yourself is wonderful! For me, a whole bunch of bananas on the dining table looks very exotic and beautiful ... great post!

Thank you @akinome. Grateful that we're blessed with a backyard where we can plant fruit bearing trees like bananas. It's also good that we know where we get what we consume.
