What I saw turned my whole notion of the sea, like a dreary collection of water. Naturally, I wanted to tell about it.

The Sea of Okhotsk is located in the north of the Pacific Ocean. Since oxygen dissolves much better in cold water, the animals live here much more cheerfully, therefore the water is rich in various phyto and zooplankton. Due to the abundance of plankton, the water here is not very transparent, and in the summer, during the flowering of algae on the littoral, it becomes quite turbid. Now, if you turn off the flashlight and look around at night, you will see how each of your movements explodes in the water with thousands of blue-green sparks. It glows disturbed plankton.

Did you know that the whales go to the south to give birth to cubs and they do not eat there, because there is nothing? Therefore, the transparency of the water in the southern seas is extraordinary, that there is at least a minimum of all living creatures in it. After birth, as soon as the baby gets stronger, the female goes back to the North.
