Between the desert and the steppe is the emptiness
Taken on the Pamir Highway, Tajikistan.
I took this photo with my beloved, the best camera ever, almost 15 years old - Canon SureShot 115u. It's a 35mm camera that has been dropped from a galloping camel's back and survived. It's been lost and found in the Sahara (and still sounds sandy when the film winds on) and survived. And through these many experiences the feel of the images has matured along with the camera itself.

It was a very cinematic part of the journey for sure! Yes I really love my camera; at the moment I can't actually afford to get many films developed though
