Daily Photography- Raindrops!

in photofeed •  7 years ago

Today was a rainy and gloomy day. Those days aren't my favorite. When the weather is like that, you also feel gloomy too, lol. Also feels gloomy because I have a family member who is in the hospital. She has been there for a few days. She is doing good though now. Its a miracle she is alive.

While my husband was gone today, I decided to go our backyard and take pictures while it was sprinkling. Yes, it did get my camera a little wet, lol! I am not good at taking macro photos yet, I am still learning. Does anyone have tips for me? I would love to learn from you guys!

Pretty!

Thank you!

Very nice pictures bro. I like it. Thats cool.

Thank you.

You are welcome

Here's my tip: for macro you need to be careful with the background as it's almost certainly going to be out of focus and could be distracting. For this reason the first photo is, I think, the most successful. I really like the way you've got an out of focus twig in the background. In this case the out of focus (OOF!) area doesn't distract at all.
Hope things continue to go well in the hospital.

VERU NICE POST

👍

Amazing shot! What lens did you used?

Nikkor 70-300mm

Good post, beautyfull

Glad you like it.

I guess your equipment does not allow you to get any closer. It would be nice to focus closer to the drop. I still liked the colors and clarity. I think it's great photos :)
congratulations

Well I am still learning how to take up close photos lol. I tried to get closer, but it just gets blurry. Thank you.

Nice photography @alovelymess. Good starting in macro photography. Keep it up. Fallow actual definition of macro photography (google) and definitely you will get better photographs.

Thanks.

Makasih

I think you did really great with these shots.

@artizm said you might be limited with your equipment. That's true.

I'm not sure how close you can get or might be able to zoom in post edit??

Here's my go to site for all things photography

Oh, another thing? If you want help with photos you've taken, put a few in a post and in the subject line say what you'd like help with - you'll get more photographers input that way. I've done it a few times and it's been helpful. ;)

Menurut saya fotonya sudah bagus, cantik. Menarik untuk di lihat ada daya tarik pada fotonya. Saya suka.

Sorry, I'd like to reply but I don't understand this language. Thank you anyway :)

@countrygirl, thank you for the site! I definitely will be looking into that! Thank you for helping me out. :)

I just saw that you used a telephoto lens for that shot. When doing macro I understand that you need to use maybe a macro lens or a general purpose lens - did you get a 18mm-50mm with your camera? If so, use that if you want to do some macro shots and move your body towards and away from the subject rather than using the lens. That's what I learned anyhow. You'll figure it out. You're a smart girl. Just ease into things and try not to know it all right now - like I do - it causes frustration - #askmehowiknow lol!

Beautiful

Thank you.

Awesome photos,
May be your family member who's in hospital makes you gloomy not the rains, May she blessed with speedy recovery.💐

Amazing photography @alovelymess thanks for sharing

I have a macro lense that I have been abandoned it. Better to use it to capture the beautiful things around me. Thanks!

Oh no, lol. You need to use it haha.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present you with the Wild Bubble Tree.
Blooming only once for every rainfall, the bubble tree is a treasure to the forest creatures below.

Thanks.

The words that come to be seeing these pictures are fresh, cool, crisp. I love these!

Thank you!!

Great macro photos! What lens are you using for this? In my experience, the 50 mm f1.8 is pretty good at taking decent macro shots while really blurring out the background

Great photography. I love it when it rains you can meet new people by telling them im walking on sun shine...its a great conversation starter when they ask you how while its pouring down rain

Now that's what I call High Quality Content! Do you have any tips for anyone trying to improve their photography skills?? @alovelymess ... Asking for me!

Picture perfect . Nice click :)
