Snowdrifts in the Forest

I went with friends on a snowshoeing trip this past weekend up in Charlevoix, Quebec. I borrowed a Fujifilm X-T1 for the weekend, and got some good photos, which I will be posting. We arrived Friday afternoon in the midst of a snowstorm, which created the perfect conditions for snowshoeing. Much of the time, we were breaking trail through a foot of newly fallen snow, which is hard work, but much more interesting than following in someone else's steps. With four of us, we took turns leading the way, and kept up a reasonable pace. This photo shows the blanket of snow drifting over boulders.
