to Saguaro National Park on the West side of Tucson.
There were massive monsoon clouds with lightning and rain
moving through pretty close, and it felt like being so on the edge.
We weren't sure whether it will rain on us,
whether we will be able to see the Sun setting at all.
It looked pretty serious out there,
and probably most of the people would turn around.
It was well worth it to stick with the plan,
riding the edge of the storm,
to be able to see this spectacular beauty unfolding!;)
Strong winds picked up in the air a lot of dust from the ground,
and this created a nice filter for the Sun!
Today lightning storms are coming from all directions,
exciting times for all the desert dwellers!
Here is a little taste..
first photo was taken with my iPhone
and all the rest with Panasonic GH1 camera.
Stunning!
The first one looks like a painting. :)
