Pano-Bridge-O-Rama

in photofeed •  7 years ago

So I live in a pretty small apartment complex with my family in semi-rural Ohio. I don't really have a backyard like I was used to, and I can feel kind of cramped sometimes. One of my favorite things to do is to go out back, across the field (where the sun is) and hang out by this river. There's even an old bridge that I sneak on to (shh) and watch the sunset pass by. While living in an apartment complex in the middle of a small town can be "interesting" at times, I'm super happy that I have this playground out back to enjoy. I don't remember exactly how many photos this pano was, but should be around 25 or so.

brother I think that I would go every day to contemplate is seen, excellent landscape

Come join me sometime! Ha

someday brother

Great photo! That bridge would be a treat in the snow, what with the giant holes full of the severed stumps of re-bar and whatnot.

You've been on it too? I remember long ago @peakandpaddle went bow hunting up there

Slash maybe you just deduced that because it's in the photo. :/

I think I’ve been on it. I’ve definitely been on a bridge behind that neighborhood with a similar view. We crossed it in order to trespass at the quarry.

Yup that's it. What's over there? Never actually gone over in there. Anything cool?

I’ve only been once (maybe twice?) anyway, it’s actually kind of startling. Sweeping vistas of rock, water and industrial equipment. I found myself wondering how this could really be right there, so close to the heart of town. I bet you’d find some cool stuff. I get the impression they’re a little tense about trespassing, though, because you could fall and/or drown.

Awesome dudes!! That's a heaps great little spot. Did you use software to stitch this together or was it just aweber skillz?

Check out his handy dandy tutorial he posted a couple weeks ago!

Yup! Just skillz. I printed each photo out individually, and stitched them all together with a pin and needle and then scanned it all together. Well, that or used Adobe lightrooms panorama feature. I forget. It was a weird day ;)

Nice shot. Looks like a great place to get some thinking done. I don't quite have the backyard I was used to growing up either but we have woods behind us that makes for some great views. -@bozz

Yeah, having any spot to escape to can be super nice.

That is a nice sun star you have there.

Thanks KLD

If i had that place around my home i would be in ecstasy! Great photo man!

Thanks! And yeah I'm really happy I have that space.

Looks lovely man! Always nice to have a little somewhere to escape to for a quiet moment!

Love the lines in the water the curve of the photograph really emphasizes them !

Great shot! I love the process of making panos. From taking the shots to stitching them! :)

Yeah, I agree! Plus they're like ultra high quality then too, so that makes it even cooler haha
