Shadow Play

This is @jrue. Drew was one of the first people who helped me get into photography (and into steemit), and since he was my roommate/housemate for around two years, we spent a lot of time together. While some of that time was spent having extensive FIFA battles (which our skill level was eerily similar) and trying to drive and crash into each other mid-air in GTA, some of that was also going around and taking pictures. These were times when I was just figuring out how to work an actual DSLR, and what all the technicalities behind manual shooting meant and how to really work the exposure triangle etc etc. Anyways, there was this night that I was driving home from work, and it was super foggy. When I got home I went inside, and jrue agreed to go outside with me to take some photos in the fog with our new cameras. We then walked around our streets in Columbus snapping photos left and right, and this was my favorite shot of the night. While there are things I would change about this photo now (such as the cars that distract), I kind of also like how he looks just like a residential creepy dude, even if I was trying to make him look like a cool guy with a camera.
