Big Betsy - Flying in support of U.S. veterans

In my hometown of North Ogden, Utah, one of the largest U.S. flags ever is flying over Coldwater Canyon to commemorate the Mayor who was recently killed in Afghanistan while serving in the Utah National Guard.

The flag is 150' x 78', weighs 450 pounds and was carried a mile up the canyon by 125 volunteers.
