I love misty foggy days too....and evenings when the sun is going down. It's tough to catch the mist though. I have to figure out the why of it - the only thing i can guess is that the camera has no where to focus. So I didn't focus on the mist - I focused on the house and moved the camera a bit. I like the overcast skies and with rain its kind of romantic :) But I like it sunny as well. 50mm is the best bang for buck lens and get very good results, great for portraits

Aw, that's a cute thing for your daughter...she loves fog. I'll bet she's adorable. Her answer reminded me of when I taught Sunday School. There was this little girl who answered "Worship God" for every question....but her inflection was on God.....like worship GoOOOOOOOOOOOd???? I don't know why your daughter's declaration reminded me but it did.
My favorite is the pine too - I can still smell them. The middle photo is meh.

The Caribbean?? Wow. I went there when I was a disobedient teenager - I was 17. Can you imagine ?? Talk about no boundaries. Anyhow I went to Freeport for a week or so - it was pretty but I was waaaaay too young to be in that atmosphere.
