Angel Glacier Lake

Looking down over the lake at the foot of Angel Glacier on the north face of Mount Edith Cavell. Originally named due to its distinctive appearance in the form of an angel it is melting rapidly and is no longer connected to the ice on the lake below. It will eventually disappear completely from the face of Mount Edith Cavel. That’s a mate of mine saultphotography on the rock below. Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.
