Arabian Desert

The Arabian Desert is the fourth largest desert in the world and occupies most of the Arabian Peninsula with area of 2,330,000 square kilometers (900,000 sq mi) . This shot was taken in the United Arab Emirates with a Canon EOS 50D, Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM at ISO 250, 10.0 mm (15.8 mm in 35mm), f/9, 1/250s.

Slowly they started off into the desert. It would be weeks before the caravan saw green again, weeks until they had fresh water. It was likely most of them wouldn't return. But they needed to cross the desert. It was the only way to escape the horrors that they had left.. They hoped above all hope that those horrors wouldn't follow them across the sands.
