Bolivian Outpost - The Washing Line

in photofeed •  7 years ago  (edited)

There is always something refreshing about clean white sheets. They represent a small act of human defiance over the ever increasing entropy of the universe.

This shot was taken of a remote settlement outpost high up in the Bolivian Altiplano, Bolivia. When @claudiaz launched her "Washing Line" theme it immediately came to mind. For those interested it was shot on a Canon EOS 50D, with a Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM at ISO 400, 22mm (34.9 mm in 35mm), f/13 and 1/250s.

Sort Order:

Human's themselves are a show of defiance against entropy. Creating Order and structure wherever they go. A Balance to the natural Chaos of the Universe which will ironically end up in completely unchanging and dead state, the ultimate form of Order.

Well said and very true.
