Golden Ears Provincial Park

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them - that only creates sorrow”.

Lao Tzu wrote that down twenty six centuries ago. Its human nature to hold onto thoughts, memories, and possessions well beyond their usefulness. Autumn reminds us how beautiful it can be to let things go. Taken before the white stuff covered this great Northern land. Golden Ears Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada.

Shot with a Canon EOS 6D Mk II, with a Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM wide open at ISO 500, f/18, and a 13s exposure time. Yep you read that right, f18, I did not want to have to spend a day focus stacking 5 different shots as there is a lot of layers of depth to this shot.

This looks freaky. Something out of a horror movie. Still an awesome shot though.

Thanks

Great photo. Interesting to see the moss like that in BC. I always associate that with the southern US states.

There is lots up the pacific north west coast. It is one of the wettest places in the world.

Yeah I guess I am thinking it looks like Spanish Moss which is a totally different thing.

I have never been to spain so I can't comment !

It must have been incredibly still to keep those leaves in sharp focus for 13 seconds.

Yes was a beautiful afternoon

that is a very magical tree! never see that kind of green growth here in Spain!

I would love to get to Spain!

you should go its quite nice in its own way

It looks very good

The objective is be flow with the life?

I guess it is for each to interpret.

increíble cómo sacar una buena foto con un buen angulo, me inspira bien hecho.

Thanks

Amazing!!!

Thanks

Unusually!

Amazing place! has that mystical and mysterious touch

With a few tweaks, would work well as a naturescape 'painting' on a grand wall...Very whimsical and 'other world'-ish...love it.

Peace.

howdy intrepidphotos! wow. This is a simply amazing shot with the contrasting colors!
