The Full Buck Moon

in photofeed •  5 years ago

Seen rising above the Sedona landscape is the July full moon, which is traditionally called the full Buck Moon because July is when the bucks antlers are in full growth mode. This full moon comes to life rising up between the last remaining clouds of a dissipating thunderstorm at sunset. Sedona Arizona USA.

Thanks for the comment and have a good weekend.

Beautiful view

Simply said and true, thanks.

Great photo and this full moon looks amazing against the backdrop of the canyon.

Yes always amazing to see, thank you magnata.

Hi @irvinesimages ,the moon and the sky in general look beautiful, the orange color gives a wonderful contrast, and the shaded part of the earth offers an ideal perspective for the rocks to look distant.
Blessings

Hi Martha, I agree with everything you say, it's a very good description of which I enjoy. Thanks and have a great weekend.

That's a nice shot! Glad to see you got some neat clouds in there. Good lighting too. Great work!

Those clouds sure came in handy along with the sunset, thank you.

this moon photography extra beautiful for your hand click.

It's a beautiful thing to see, thanks.

Great and very nice photography my dear friend

That's nice to hear, thank you.

The moon is very bright in this shot. I love full moon events. Especially when you can view them when they are low in the sky. They always look so big and bright.

I'm the same way, it's very enjoyable to watch a full moon rise and at times peaceful. I wish we had a couple more moons.

Such a magnifique photo!

Thanks for the compliment.

You're welcome!
