2 HOURS IN THE TETONS (6 pics)

in photofeed •  7 years ago

Today I got a commercial request for some pictures of the Tetons. Which is convenient because I was just there 2 months ago... however I wasn't there for long.

I've been a couple other times in the past i've shared some of those pics previously

WHAT HAPPENED?

I was gonna go spend a couple days after my trip to Yellowstone but I got a call from the Piano Guys and booked a photoshoot for the next day so I made the 6hr trip home and one cloudless sunset is all i had to work with.

BUT ... worth sharing right?

This was my last shot of the evening... it was taken 90 minutes after the first shot... so technically i lied... i wasn't even taking pictures for a full 2 hours. Crazy.

This is where i ended up for sunset... there wasn't time to get to the popular oxbow bend but then again it's nice trying something new

I was really interested in exploring different location options and marking them on my map for next time.

OTHER OPTIONS SAME LOCATIONS

Then by the time I got to the famous photo spot it was already pretty darn dark.

Cloudless sunsets can be ruff, you did a good job with what you had. The glow on the inside of the mountains is really good.

Yeah wish i could always time it with a perfect sunset but you learn to make it work as long as you're not the type of photographer who just gives up

You went at the perfect time, still had snow on them but had some green in the foreground, well at least from the pine trees and grass. ;)

Well dang now I wish i had stayed longer!

Definitely worth sharing! Amazing photos (:

Awesome as always ;)

@jarvie The difference between a professional photographer and a professional amateur like me. ;) What camera do you use? Great photos.

Love that first one with the road. I need to try some road shots like that.
