How to make a picture Clickable on Steemit (And Large)

[![Optional Text](PICTURE URL)](PICTURE URL)
Replace the text with what it says.

  • You can use URLs from popular photo sites (I use SmugMug mostly)
  • Or you can just upload to steemit and grab the URL they give you and trash the rest of the code.
  • It stands to reason you can also put a different link instead of the URL twice that can direct people somewhere else on the internet, like your website. (Be courteous and tell them where they're going if they click it)

CRATER LAKE + PANOS
Crater lake has alway been tough for me to do until I started doing more panos because you're right on the edge of the lake and it's rather large and hard to show off ... because cutting off a lake half way is tricky. So either grab a 14mm or do some awesome panos. As a bonus you can print this the size of a house. haha

p.s. I uploaded this one 2500px and as far as I know it should resize to fit your browser. Let me know.

p.p.s. I had been asking how to do this for a few posts but never got an answer so I went and found out on the internets. Thanks @aweber and @vonwong for asking... it motivated me to post it. I know there's a bunch of photographers coming in (including a bunch of my friends) so it bears repeating.

Sweet - how difficult was it getting to this location to "get the shot"?

Well for most of the year the loop road is closed so you have to just walk from the lodge area and the walking loop isnt tough... just a bunch of packed anow right now... often its deep enough for snow shoes.

You been?

Thanks man! Definitely gonna try this my next post

Nice pano dude

Hej jarvie, great picture!
It's so clear and has so much detail love it :)
Which camera do you have?
You have my Follow see you :)

Aha! Thanks for doing the groundwork on that!

Also: panos for the win! Nice shot of Crater. I never made it up there (thank you government shutdown 2013).

Wow that's a beautiful lake. Love the blues.

Yeah Crater Lake is one of the deepest lakes in the US i think... and probably one of the most blue.

Where is it exactly ?

Central oregon - https://goo.gl/maps/UovbkErao6q

Closest town is Klamath Falls ... also close to eugene or Medford

Wow I came close . I did a loop around Mt Hood National Forest . Next time will have to head down there .

#newb testing here:

So if I do this right I can easily embed an image that links to a gallery of more work from @jarvie, hosted directly off his SmugMug and if I don't tell him about it then he's none the wiser?

All by visiting his page and copying the public image addresses?

Cool...

Super great collection from Jarvie, totally worth checking out

PS - Clicking this image will take you to a marvelous gallery of @jarvie's work.

PPS @jarvie I made a link to your work.
