Sharing a moment of serenity

We decided to drive out to the mountains to spend some time in the snow. Personally I find standing at the edge of the mountains humbling. As I stood at the edge of the lake, looking longingly at the incredible peaks another person came and stood directly beside me. They didn't say any thing - just stood there. There was a lot of room, so they could have had their own edge of the lake...but still they chose to stand right beside me. I guess they just wanted to share the moment with someone.

I can understand that.

It only got a little weird when they leaned over and said "follow for follow?"

Damn you Instagram, damn you.

I love the photos! And the joke was hilarious. It's rare that online jokes get a real "LOL" out of me, but that came close :D

Close...damn. I'll try harder next time ;)

haha what an odd thing for someone to say! Amazing view though, I love the second photo the mountain looks huge!

Thanks! Yeah - lots of weirdos in the mountains ;)

AHAHA!

Lol, I thought they want to push you down.

I'm glad they didn't.

hahahahahaha! That was great! :). You got me! But, it is humbling to be out in nature that is literally awe inspiring.

Glad I could make you laugh!

Awesome photos. Do you mind letting us know where that is?

Kananaskis. Alberta. Canada.

Follow for a follow...tooooo funny.

The mountains humble me every single day. Mostly on my way home from work. I guess that's when I'm my most reflective. When I'm worrying about the little tid bits of the work day. Then I look up, see the impressive mountain ranges to the west and everything is suddenly back in perspective.

Anyone who walks in the mountains feels a little smaller and a little taller at the same time.

Haha I love it. Great shots! They're truly awe-inspiring!
#humbled #blessed

:)

This made my day. lol.

Awesome photos - only those who've been there "know" how awe inspiring mountains really truly are.
