A windy sunset from the shore of Lake General Carrera, Chile Chico.

I shot this on a family trip over Christmas. As the party started winding down I headed down to the lake with my camera and waited around for the sunset. It was windy, and this photo looks deceptively calm despite the visible waves. One thing I've learned from experience is that the weather in Patagonia looks to be nicer than it really is.

In other news I just bought a telephoto lens, 55-200, for my Fujifilm camera. I'm kind of stuck in the middle of two camera systems for the time being. My digital kit is small and consists of the Canon 6D with 16-35 f/2.8, 50 1.8 STM and the Fujifilm X-T30 with 18-55 and 55-200. I wish I had better glass for the Fuji kit, but have to take one step at a time.
