There's a mentality that has developed in Melbourne where anywhere that serves coffee has to have good coffee or else people just won't return, even for other things. And to get people in the door stores serve coffee because they know Melbourne is addicted. So even the smallest shops and cafes have the proper big espresso machines. We even forced McDonald's to open McCafe because no-one would buy their coffee.
