The Disney parks worldwide have closed up shop due to the dreaded Coronavirus, but I always did like going to the resorts around Easter time to view their creative Easter egg displays! The Disney confectioners pull out all the stops around this time of year, creating incredible themed Easter eggs of all sizes, mostly made out of chocolate and then decorated according to the artist's favored them.
You can see them at the Grand Floridian, the Yacht and Beach Club, and the Contemporary resort each year.
A few of the ones I spotted at the Contemporary resort last year include things like Alice in Wonderland.
Or Dumbo in the "Baby Mine" scene of the movie (a scene which always makes me cry.)
Or a buzzing little beehive.
Or a more abstract look based on the patchwork dress of Sally from "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
Of course, you can never go wrong with a Mickey Mouse theme.
And sometimes, the only theme you really need is springtime and flowers -- okay, with maybe a little Tinkerbell thrown in for good measure. ;-)
