I’ve always been fond of night, drawn like a moth to the flame. Sometimes I’ll go out alone into the city at night where my only purpose or goal in the whole adventure is to find beauty, to find something new and unclaimed. Sometimes they take a while to find me, to bring themselves to the surface but when they do, it hits me like a cool glass of water I didn’t know I needed. These extraordinary moments give me so much fuel, and they’re right there waiting for you all the time. What you seek is seeking you.
We hold the things close that break in the darkest nights, then we break with them, soothing the shadows until our eyes brim with light and we burst wide open like a star torching the night sky.
