Hey people! This is Martin from The Netherlands. I am a photographer who mostly shoots travel & portrait photography. I heard great things about this site and look forward to share my work (it is currently mostly seen by my friend and family, would love a bigger audience!) and be inspired by you all! Today my first portrait shot I took in Kyoto, Japan, two months ago. I went into Kyoto and took a walk into Gion, an area that still has the traditional Geishas and their customs. However, the real ones were elusive, hidden, and were never seen. I only saw one, quickly leaving the area. The rest are just cosplayers, tourists wearing the traditional outfits, enjoying the time and culture.
