Hello Steemians,

Another Day. Another Art Project. Today I wanted to use the Photo-manipulation and Color Enhancement Process to bring out the gradient in the twilight sky near my Grandmothers house.

The aim wasn't necessarily to enhance any one color over the other, but rather bring out the prominence of the overall gradient in it's entirety.

Post-Production:

Editing	GIMP --- Curves, Brightness, Contrast, Multiply Layer at 67% Opacity

The only downside of the process was that of losing some of the detailing in the houses. I considered this a necessary risk and cost since I preferred the silhouette of the buildings to the detailing in this particular shot.

Overall I think the project turned out well. The post production actually reminds me of something from a comic book of famous Anti Heroes or that of the Detective/ Noir style. The dominance and harsh contrast of the blacks over the few gradient colors adds both Elegance as well as Mystery to this piece.
