Africa #19: Visiting one of the world’s most beautiful waterfalls: The Victoria Falls 🌈

This morning we took a cab to the border and walked from there. It is really important that you get your stamp on the Zambian side before entering the “No Man’s Land”!
The so called “No Man’s Land“ is the zone between Zambia and Zimbabwe and lasts for approximately one mile. You can easily walk it.

On the bridge they offer the bungee jump from the Victoria Falls Bridge, which got popular a few years ago, when the rope snapped (https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2014/apr/04/my-bungee-cord-snapped-experience).
After jumping the Bloukrans Bridge in South Africa, we decided to skip this one ;)

At the border you have to get a visa, for Germans it was 30$, for some other residents it is even more expensive (yes this is just a one day visa)!

The entry to the National Park comes shortly after the border and is also expensive!
But after seeing those wonderful waterfalls again, we think that it is also worth the money:

In the evening we had a traditional African meal with our host family and later a few beers with the locals in a small pub.

Tomorrow it is time for our last stop before Jo’burg: The Kasane National Park in Botswana.

Good intel on the costs and paperwork side of things traveling in that region, very helpful. Also epic pictures, i know photos don't really show how good the scene really is so it must have been definitely
worth the trouble and costs to get there!!

Thanks. Yeah the costs have been really expensive, regarding the fact that we went there just for "one waterfall". But it was such an amazing experience, that in our opinion it's worth the money!
