South Island, New Zealand

in photofeed •  7 years ago  (edited)

We woke up, ate our breakfast, and left at 6:30 to catch the ferry from Wellington to the South Island. As we approached the mainland, I ran out to the bow of the ship to get a better view of the archipelago we were sailing through. Breathtaking. After getting off, we took a two hour bus ride to Nelson. The first image is from that bus ride, with mountains shooting up from the plane lands. Considering its drastic changes in landscapes over short distances, New Zealand is truly unique.

Wow so beautiful, looks like an amazing landscape!

Looks so much like mendocino county california, I guess the grapes know that :) Great series, your processing is fantastic.

That's interesting! Thank you!
