Ray Kurzweil, author of The Singularity is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology, was inducted in 2002 into the National Inventors Hall of Fame.

“Certain things follow predictable trends. Moore’s law will reach a limit, it’s estimated, in 2020. But every time we’ve come to the end of one paradigm, we reach another. Moore’s law was the fifth paradigm. The third was vacuum tubes; the fourth transistors. The sixth will be three-dimensional molecular circuits. One cubic inch of nanotube circuitry, for example, would be 100 million times more powerful than the human brain.”

Quite curious the deadline for a prediction arrives, yet an unexpected outcome develops. I cannot speak ill of another’s observation, but only interpret and gather one myself. It’s quite an honor to witness change at grater scopes, as the eye widens. Perhaps, the blockchain is another paradigm; time will tell.

Curious enough, another world feels similarly as the Dow Industrials fell more than 1,400 points, a 5.9% decline as fears of coronavirus compound the ramifications of a crude price war. I would not claim or feign nonchalance at the series of events; however, I will admit that I bore witness through observations and will act accordingly. Whether my predictions hold true, like always, photography, life; much remains to be seen.

I haven't but since you mention it, I will give it a look! I remember wanting to see it when I was younger, but the audience wasn't me at that age. I'll probably appreciate it more now too.
