It's bad steemit etiquette to comment on another's post with an invite to your post - no different than advertising something you have for sale when you are in a store.
@countrygirl. Well done. I am on a mission, like you, to stop this kind of attention seeking.
Sometimes, we are faced with irrational denials of wrongdoing, and kami-kazi like attacks, even for making a comment, without flag.
An example can be seen in a recent dialog I had with a spammer. The spammer had sprayed tens of blogs with a pretty girl’s photo and no meaningful comment. He has since removed all the offending photos, but he is still in denial that this is spamming.
You can amuse yourself with it here. Just search the comments section for my name, if this link doesn’t take you straight there.
I had to go to steemword to find your reply. Every time I tried to see it on my post it disappeared. I don't know what that's all about. I just wanted to say I got your reply. It must have something to do with the fact that he muted both of us.
Whatever. I'm not here to fight. I don't have the voting power to do that anyway. I checked the blog you linked me to....I wish people like that would go elsewhere to "play".
Not sure what went wrong to stop you seeing comments. I never had such a problem. If you accidently hid a comment, just click on the “+” sign next to the flag (be careful not to click the flag). Otherwise if a comment is hidden/flagged (like above), you can click on “reveal comment”
They weren't hidden. I think it had something to do with the mute thing. I don't know. The only way I can see the replies is by going through steemworld.com and clicking on the reply you sent.
I'm not too worried about it. I hope he learned - if not, he won't be successful and have friends on here that's for sure.
no, no, no. This is spamming. Comment spamming.
