As I began processing this photo I kept feeling like I was back at this spot on the coast of Oregon, near Brookings. It must have been a strong moment because the memory of the vertigo this gave me came rushing back as I continued to finish my processing.
I always shoot in RAW format and my method is to first make sure the composition is as I like it and in focus! From there, I work the aperture and the f-stop using the histogram in my live view to make sure there is no clipping of the highlights or the shadows. This allows me to retrieve the image fully in Lightroom which is the program I use to process and store my photos with.
