Portrait Contest Winner Announcement

First of all a huge thank you to everyone who entered last weeks contest. It's always a worry about whether people will enter and what the quality of entries will be like but I have to say I've been blown away by the quality of work submitted over the last 9 days!

This was a really close one to judge with some truly outstanding entries. It is with great pleasure that I announce the first ever #proportraitphotography Contest winner is.....

I really liked the unique angle @aurumv took for this contest, it is a portrait that instantly stood out and is a well deserved winner. It's not just the idea I like, but the execution too, as I've said time and time again, this isn't about having a contest just for professionals, I totally understand if people don't have these kinds of photoshopping skills. What I was really looking for is unique angles or ideas and for me this was certainly just that! The level of execution was really just icing on the cake!
