Galactic Mirror

...finish the drive from the airport are pretty magical. I typically like to start with a night of shooting here if the weather is clear. The water that seemingly continues all the way out the horizon makes a mirror on the flats until summer. I've also seen some incredible sunsets here. I usually spend the next day driving for about 5 hours, south. By the end of the weekend I've circled up through Arches National Park and Canyonlands, exhausted, but content. Utah is one of my favorite states.

Not a bad place to start your trip through Utah!

That's awesome! Never seen the Salt Flats flooded like this! :D

Oh man, I've actually never seen them NOT flooded at least a bit... I keep trying to catch it when the formations happen but before people have walked/driven all over them.
