I want to get better at finding ways to photograph interesting patterns and that are around me in everyday life. I tend to only think about taking pictures of pretty things, people, or places because they're easy to take nice pictures of. It's much harder for me to take pictures of less obviously pretty things and make them interesting through creative composition or content. I'm hopefully going to be taking and posting more pictures like this in order to force myself to find beauty in the everyday and to train my eye to look for interesting stuff and things such as like that.

Even if you want to specialize in landscape and "pretty thing" photography, it never hurts to stretch those brain muscles that see shapes and patterns like this - it translates into all kinds of photography. :)
