Nest(le) Eggs

in photofeed •  7 years ago

There's a small wetlands near my apartment that is preserved by Ohio State University. I often go walk through it if there's enough light after work, and I often see some sort of wildlife while walking. On one walk through the wetlands I came across this Canadian Goose chilling on a nest full of eggs so I stopped to snap a pic.

They say don't put your eggs all in one basket, but this goose obviously makes its own rules!

Super crisp looking shot dude! What's this shot on?

Gracias Senor! This was my old Canon T5 and 75-300 kit lens.

Nice, that's a pretty sweet 480 equivalent on the rebel! Nice lens to have in the bag, only recently looked at it, such good value! Just picked up a 40-150 (80-300 equiv) for my olympus which is another super cheap, super handy lens!

For sure! It definitely went well with that crop sensor. I sold it for some reason when I got my 6D, but might have to look at getting one back now that I'm going through my pictures and seeing how sharp it is for the money!

Oooh nice, that'd be sweet. How do you like having that 2X crop factor?

It's pretty cool, especially given the size of the camera with 40-150mm, fitting a 300mm equivalent AND camera in my coat pocket still seems nuts!

Very true! Love the portability.

Everyone goes through the rule. The hammers carry their own rules. Your picture has been awesome The swings have increased further.

Not entirely sure what this means, but I like it!
