Where Is It Wednesday - Photo Games Week 1 Day 3

in photogames •  7 years ago

First off, congratulations to @cupido24 to winning my Monday challenge. The guess was 185 and I shot it at 180mm! The funds will be transferring soon!

THE GAME = GUESS WHERE THIS WAS TAKEN

BACKGROUND OF THE PICTURE
This picture was taken outside during the day, and this is an animal overlooking his/her kingdom. That is not sugar on the mountains, but piles of snow. May the games begin!

PUBLIC PRIZE POOL = .5 SBD

  • From Each Post of a Competitor
  • If multiple people guess correctly (tie for 1st): 60% to first person / 40% divided between the next 5 people

TIME LIMIT

  • For this game you have 2 days to play
  • Winners announced on FRIDAY’S game
  • Remember there can be multiple winners (check prize pool)

RULES FOR PUBLIC

  • One guess per post
  • No editing your comment
  • Closest guess wins
  • Each competitor/poster decides the winner of his/her own post!
  • The author has written down how specific they are expecting before the guesses begin (they may or may not share that).
  • For example if you guess the state you may be closer than the person that guessed the country until someone guesses the city and then the location inside of that… it’s up to the author to decide.

RULES FOR THE COMPETITORS (The "Photo Game Stars")

  • The Competitors also play but their guesses can’t earn money.
  • If you think they’re right jump on in with their guesses - perfectly acceptable.

STRATEGY TIPS

  • Do you guess first and get the bigger prize?
  • Do you wait to see what’s guessed?
  • Do you jump on in with the guess of someone else or try to be a little more exact?

Sort Order:

I don't want to give it away, but I'm pretty positive it was taken at McDonalds in Honolulu...

Pandora!

North cascades national park, cascade pass.

I am going to go with Northern Cascades, Mt Shuksan, based on the wildlife species list along with other replies.

The Kileville Grain Elevator, Kileville, Ohio.

I'll make a guess @aweber! - it's the North Cascades National Park, WA :-) Cheers!

That's a tough one!

Northern Cascades, Mount Shuksan

I'm going with this guess!!

Just fyi i am not part of the prize allotment... we just have our own side game going between us. So fingers crossed... because i'm not actually sure. haha

I wouldn't be too sure either ;)

That's a bummer I want to participate.

Haha i was saying i am not part of the prize participation personally. Go right ahead and play

Nice post

haha, this one is a hard guess! Can we cheat and look into your older posts? :)) If yes, I would go with Northern cascades.

North Cascades National park

I see a lot of people have the same guess... I have no idea if they're correct or not, but I'm wondering if anyone can get more specific about the exact location where Andrew was standing when he took this?
