MY EVERYDAY RITUAL for @photogames

in photogames •  7 years ago

I left the days pass while thinking what is the thing that I do every single day.

I mean, I drink several cups of coffee every day, I play with our two pups, I workout (let's be honest, not everyday but at least I think about do it or not everyday), I drive like 4 hours a day every single one even when I don't want to, but I didn't feel like writing about those things.

This @photgames EVERYDAY RITUALS ASSIGNMENT made me question myself more than usual.

¿What could be something that's into my everyday routine for real?

To create.

I realized that creating stuff is a into a big part of my genes, it's like 80% part of it, the rest is... You guessed, it's coffee and ice cream. Creating, being creative someway, from the most simple to common way, to the complicated way.

I wake everyday asking myself "what I'm gonna do today?" The answer is never something like "I'm going to get some groceries"... It's more like "I want to cook something delicious today" or "that wall is too plain, it's like asking for some paint fun".

When I'm not expressing myself thru the computer with architecture projects, developong graphic design concepts, doing photography stuffs, or playing the @photogames, I'm literally doing the same thing but focused in other real life ambits.

I will list sort of things that I did this week (and every single day) that helped me realize what my post for the third week @photogames assignment was going to be about.

Cooking

Corn and chicken creppe. Photo with a BLU R1 HD while starving.

I'm not that guy that cooks just to survive, I do love being in the kitchen until I have to clean the dishes. First reason to cook, the one who does it doesn't have to clean up the mess, second reason is because I enjoy the good food and I committed myself to learn how to cook well, then when I get bored I get fancy as well and start making some dishes really impres myself.

Slackline

One of the things that I think almost every minute is to go out slacklining because it's actually something that I can't do everyday, it's a very rude sport for the body and I'm not 18 anymore (just joking), but the part that it's a rude sport is very true. One of the things that made me fell in love with this sport is that even when i'm not into competing anymore it keeps pushing me to the limits and developing my creative side by trying to get some new stylish moves or just chill with the ones that I already know but slacklining is never the same everyday. It's like never getting enough of something.

Slacklining refers to the act of walking or balancing along a suspended length of flat webbing that is tensioned between two anchors. Slacklining is similar to slack rope walking and tightrope walking. Slacklines differ from tightwires and tightropes in the type of material used and the amount of tension applied during use. Slacklines are tensioned significantly less than tightropes or tightwires in order to create a dynamic line which will stretch and bounce like a long and narrow trampoline. Tension can be adjusted to suit the user, and different webbing may be used in various circumstances. Slacklining is popular because of its simplicity and versatility; it can be used in various environments with few components. Wikipedia

I made a whole post about it that you can see here, it's in spanish but you can help yourself with DeepL. You can understand the Slackline better watching this video.

Doodling

+ Cash sacrifice +

When I'm out in public with Victoria, she's always looking at my hands to supervise if I'm about to make a sick lettering that came to my mind with the ketchup on the restaurant table or stuffs like so. I'm that hype. I'm always doodling, drawing something, lettering, painting... Whatever that involves creativity. This week I have been painting a mural, due to the weather I haven't finished yet and that fact is giving me a headache already. I'll post it later.

Writing

I have never been a good writer, but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy doing it and it's not since I meet Steemit. I've wrote many adventures just because one day I'll forget the cool experiences I had and I will be really pleased of reading how hype I was, I'm not talking about 100 years ahead, I'm talking about a couple days ahead, I mean... I already forgot what I had for breakfast yesterday. I don't have a photo of me writing or things that I wrote, because I mostly do it on my phone notes or straight in the computer, unless you want tu see just a screenshot with a bunch of letters and grammar errors.

I know @photogames, I know.

I know that this whole games are about photography and I just shared some horrible phone pictures, and even photos that someone else took of me, but it was very weird to think about doing something so expontanous such as "creating" whatever and taking picture of myself doing it, it's just weird haha, dont judge me haha. I'm just sharing what would my my everyday ritual with some "referential images", I hope you enjoy it.

This image is from my most recent creative explotion while waiting for food.

P.S.: Once again, the @photogames inspired me on keep creating stuff, I just need the days lasts like... 15 hours more.

"just need the days lasts like... 15 hours more." exactly :)

Just 15... Am I asking too much?? Haha

24 would be to much, 15 is just right :)

Well, what I can say is that is must be fun to wait for food if you're around. And second "the one who does it doesn't have to clean up the mess" that is so venezuelan ha ha ha. Love how creative you are. I used to be like that before my son was born. Now I'm tired all the time. I miss those days.

Just bring back those days @gabyoraa, it's never too late 😁

Start shapierize your son. You can make posts about the making off and then the "cleaning off" 😂
