in photogames •  7 years ago  (edited)

As you probably noticed we have been playing the @photogames, and guess what? We are a guest photostar for the fourth and final week of this Second season.

Win points from each @Photogames Star’s post, by correctly identifying the 3 truths and 3 lies!

The rules are below - but first, a reminder that you still have until Sunday at 6pm EST to submit your ACTION photo for Thematic Tuesday to win big points towards the 110 SBD prize pool!

ABOUT THE PHOTO

Slackline is a sport that consist on keeping the balance while walking or doing tricks on a 1" or 2" piece of webbing tightened in between two natural or artificial anchors. This is an image of a good friend rocking the highline, it's a GoPro shot that was taken in 2015 during a "rest" week we had that competition season. It's a 50-60 feet long line at around 400 ft high above the canyon.

Three of these statements about the photo above are true:

  1. This image was taken in a gap at the Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park.
  2. The camera was in a tripod.
  3. The Slackline was invented by famous and experimented cirque people in 1980.
  4. Longest Highline World Record was made in the Himalayas.
  5. This type of lines could hold a Porshe Cayman hanging on it and still not break.
  6. Triple flips can be performed on the Slackline.

RULES & HOW TO PLAY

The rules for this game are simple. Look at the list of six “facts” about our photo. Three of those facts are true and
the other three are false.

Your job is to separate the facts from fiction and tell us which three things are true.

Write your guess in the comments below, using this format: “True: 1, 2, 3”

  1. Only one entry per person on each Photo Star's post

  2. No editing of your guess - you have to commit!

  3. For this game you have 2 days to play (till Saturday at 6PM EST / 11PM UTC).

SCORING

  • The following points will be awarded to the first six successful/closest truthseekers on each Photo Star’s post:

  • 9 | 6 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1

  • (Max points allowed per person for this game is 36)

  • Winners will be added to the Photo Games Leaderboard

  • The total prize pool is 110 SBD and will be awarded to the point leaders at the end of the month, as described here

if only I had the time this week :D But actually, @derekkind just wants to make it impossible for me to play these games so all he does is make me host them... He's just jealous I guess!

I am sure he is also very envious of your skills.

I tried teaching him... but he preferred to be home-schooled and I thought that was a bit far away.

;)

Lol... : )

I've been using some (or all where I can) of those tips too! ; )

Cool!!
I'm going to go with 2, 5 and 6 are truths...

This is hard !! I'm going to go for : TRUE : 1,5,6

True 1,5,6

1, 5 y 6 digo yo que son verdad

1,2,6
If you're suggesting someone could hang a car right there in this picture the answer is absolutely not. Those anchors would not hold.

If all you're saying is the webbing/slackline is strong enough... then yes for sure. 2,5,6

Just playing for fun now that the deadline has passed - 3, 5, 6?
