What is the scariest real picture of the ocean or anything in it?

The ocean is actually more dangerous and scary than we think. These pictures may give you nightmares so be careful.

  1. Just knowing the sheer size of animals in the ocean is enough to creep any sane person out! And they blend right into the water around them!

  1. Even though whales aren’t intimidating in theory, I guarantee they are in person. They are ginormous! And could easily kill you without even trying. You could be swatted like a fly by this massive creature!

  1. Every once in a while, the scariest thing you can find on the ocean floor isn’t a shark, a jellyfish, or another animal—it’s a completely inanimate object. What is that chair doing there? How spooky is that?

  1. Think space is home to all of our black holes? Think again. In fact, the ocean is teeming with eddies similar to the black holes in space, meaning nothing in their path can escape. Scarier yet, the black holes in the ocean are massive, often measuring up to 93 miles in diameter. For context, that’s larger than the entirety of greater Los Angeles.

  1. While hurricanes may cause the most devastation when they make landfall, their home base is in the ocean.

  1. Scenery like this in the ocean is enough to give you a heart attack immediately but first, think of surviving from them.

  1. The average depth of the ocean is around 12,100 feet. But most divers are instructed to only dive about 130 feet deep—barely scratching the surface. For context, planes fly about 0.1 percent height of the Karman Line. But divers dive 0.01 percent of the average ocean depth. The math doesn’t lie.
